If you imagine for a moment that you built an onramp to the freeway, and then sold access to that ramp to others, who built their own ramps that led to your ramp. Let's suppose that they in turn did the same thing. We'd have a serious traffic problem on your onramp during rush hour, wouldn't we! So, those who paid their toll to the guy who bought access from the guy who bought access from the guy who bought access from you, might take a while to wade through the traffic between the first ramp and the actual freeway. Wouldn't you be a little upset if you had to go through so many onramps just to get to the freeway?

The Bad News

The sad thing is that most folks just don't know any better. They pay their toll to some company that claims to offer "direct access" or "high-speed lines" and so they sell their access under a false premise.
